our story
Comfort Shield HVAC of NC was started by the Sessoms Family more than 30 years ago. These days, the team is much larger, but the goal is still to make you feel like family. We are a Christian-based, family-owned, local business based out of Smithfield, and we service most of Eastern North Carolina.
We are a leader in quality for heating and air conditioning. We also provide 24/7 emergency service for HVAC units, electrical or plumbing issues. When you choose Comfort Shield, you can rest assured that our fully licensed and insured team of experts will treat your home or business with the same care that they would treat their own.

Our mission is to provide quality installation, service and design for HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing projects from start to finish. We strive to restore comfort for both residential and light commercial customers with a servant’s heart.

LION'S LAIR MINISTRY
We’re a proud partner of Lion’s Lair Ministry, a charitable Christian organization operating in North Carolina whose mission is to assist those in need with whatever resources are available. Our Comfort Shield team has given away bikes to children in need who may otherwise have not gotten anything for Christmas, provided food and clothing for families in need and given back in as many ways as possible.
