Cleaning, adjusting and repairing HVAC systems, and performing warranty services.
Troubleshooting defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses.
Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning, monitoring and calibrating air handling units — and by cleaning coils.
Improving air quality by cleaning ducts to optimize efficiency.
Fixing, replacing and adjusting vents and duct work.
Ensuring condensation drain lines are free of debris and draining properly.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions.
Maintaining a service truck.
Ensuring compliance with appliance standards within the Health and Safety Act.
High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
At least two years of commercial HVAC experience.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans.
Ability to work after hours, on weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
Physically agile, dexterous and able to work in confined spaces.
Administrative Customer Service Clerk
We are a well-known HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical service company located in Johnston County for more than 30 years. As we continue to grow by leaps and bounds, so does our need for quality people to join our team. We are seeking an Administrative Customer Service Clerk to join our staff! The right candidate will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Provide information about the products and services we offer.
Troubleshoot and resolve service issues and customer concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
Accurately document and update customer records based on interactions in our system.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our products and services.
Answer phone calls with a smile at all times and with the utmost customer care.
Multitask in a small office environment where you will be known by your first name, not just an employee number.
Previous experience working in HVAC office or customer service, sales or other related fields. A high priority will be given for candidates in the HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical field.
Ability to build rapport with customers through positive and empathetic engagement.
Ability to prioritize and multitask work daily.
Positive and professional demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
